Casa AnKan is a Miami-based contemporary art and collectible design gallery founded by Angelo Garrido and Ana Curiel in 2023. With roots in Mexico and a shared upbringing in the United States, the founders bring a cross-cultural perspective to a practice spanning curation, bespoke design, and the creation of distinctive environments. Their approach reflects a belief that art and design can deepen our connection to our surroundings, inspire curiosity, and transform the way we experience everyday life.

Working with an international collective of artists, designers, and master artisans, Casa AnKan presents sculptural furniture, lighting, objects, and contemporary art. Its selection brings together distinct approaches to material, form, and craftsmanship, with an emphasis on works that carry a personal story and a strong creative identity. One-of-a-kind pieces, limited editions, and commissioned works invite a closer relationship with the people, processes, and cultural traditions behind their making.

Casa AnKan’s curatorial approach is guided by five pillars: Ambiance, Convergence, Disruption, Timelessness, and Transcendence. These principles shape exhibitions and environments that engage the senses, bring creative disciplines together, challenge conventions, and encourage lasting connections with art and design. Its presentations include participation in the first New York edition of COLLECTIBLE in 2024 and OASIS, presented at ALCOVA Miami at the historic Miami River Inn in December 2025, during Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach. Inspired by the stillness and textures of desert landscapes, OASIS brought sculptural furniture, lighting, and art into dialogue with sound and scent, creating a contemporary sanctuary that invited visitors to slow down and experience the works beyond their visual presence. The exhibition expressed Casa AnKan’s understanding of luxury through connection, enduring artistry, and the emotional impact of thoughtfully composed surroundings.

Beyond its exhibition programme, Casa AnKan develops bespoke pieces and commissioned projects through close collaboration with clients and makers. Its capabilities encompass furniture, lighting, custom doors, architectural details, music studio furniture, and large-scale installations. Working with local ateliers in the United States and Mexico alongside its wider international network, the gallery connects each project with the materials and expertise it requires, guiding a shared vision from its initial concept towards a finished work.

Across its curatorial work, commissions, and original designs, Casa AnKan seeks to leave a meaningful mark through pieces that become part of the lives, rituals, and memories of those who encounter them.
