Tom Jablin

Tom Jablin is a sculptor working primarily with marble and wood to explore organic forms inspired by nature, the ocean, and the anatomy of humans and animals. His studio is located in the countryside of southwest France, where he was born and raised, and a setting that continues to ground and inspire his creative process.

With a background in wood craftsmanship, Tom began his career over a decade ago as a furniture maker before moving into sculpture. Collaborating with renowned artists across several countries, he developed a strong technical foundation and a deep appreciation for material quality, both central to his work today.

His sculptures are born from a physical and intuitive dialogue with the material, shaped by how his own body responds to its resistance and texture. Discovering stone brought a new depth to his practice, challenging him to test both the medium and himself.
