Métamo
Marte by Métamo is a sculptural dining chair defined by compact proportions and an expressive curved backrest. Made in Mexico, it reflects the Mérida-based studio’s exploration of Yucatán’s natural landscapes and Maya architecture, translating those references into form and structure. Careful joinery and an emphasis on curves connect traditional woodworking with contemporary design. Presented alongside Venus at Zona Maco and featured in Architectural Digest, Marte demonstrates how a simple silhouette can carry both a practical function and a distinct regional identity.
