Menguante
Shadow by Menguante is a sculptural floor lamp crafted from La Chamba ceramic, connecting contemporary lighting with Colombia’s longstanding pottery traditions. Shaped by hand, the clay is burnished, fired, and smoked to achieve its distinctive black surface. The piece reflects the studio’s exploration of light and shadow while honoring the knowledge passed down through generations of artisans in Tolima. Its material and making process give Shadow a tactile presence, bringing earth, fire, and light together in a functional sculpture.
