Architect Juan David Ocampo Romero's design journey explores light, initially aiming to complement architecture. Through research into Colombian techniques, Menguante uncovers its essence, merging traditional materials like clay, stone, and metal to create light sculptures that embody our culture. Involving artisan families, Menguante's collaborative process revitalizes ancestral techniques, achieving powerful results in minimalist design, harmonizing simplicity with cultural depth.

The studio aims to craft atmospheres where light and shadow are captured in timeless objects, evoking emotions and blending ancestral heritage with innovation to create a unique lighting experience known as "innovative tradition".
