Esther Knopfler

Esther Knopfler, born in Budapest in 1991, is a designer based in southern France, where she has lived and worked since 2019. Originally an architect, she later shifted her focus to furniture design, drawn by a desire to create on a more intimate scale.

Her practice is guided by a strong affinity for natural materials and a sculptural sensibility that led her to marble as her primary medium. She also enjoys experimenting with colors, which play an important role in her work. Today, she creates collectible design pieces that balance softness with strength, exploring the tension between contrasts while maintaining a refined, fluid aesthetic. Her pieces are produced in France and Italy, ensuring the highest craftsmanship. Across her collections, each piece is produced in limited editions, highlighting their exclusivity and rarity.
